While walking our woods to find a place to build the kiln, I discovered a 50’ x 35’ naturally treeless rectangle. That is where I built Woodbury Den, a shelter for Loci May, a place for the wood to be cured, and a place for the crew and friends to gather. All of the wood we use is salvaged: fallen trees from our property and trees felled by local landscapers that were otherwise heading for the mulch machine.
